Lily plays the oboe, and her best friend is
her Australian Cattle Dog, Sweetie Pi.
She was on the Gravelly Hill Middle School Varsity volleyball team
and is active in the National Junior Honor Society.
She is an annual participant in the Great
Smoky Mountains Wildflower Pilgrimage. She is adept at finding Tipularia discolor (Pursh) Nuttall and
salamanders.
Every summer she enjoys hiking in the Tuolumne
Meadows area of Yosemite National Park with her aunt, Barbara McCormick. In
August 2007 she traveled to Turkey with her family and friends, Gwen &
Aziz Sancar.
